Stonehaven Skatepark

Stonehaven skatepark was designed and built by Gravity and opened in 2011. The skatepark is all concrete and can be found in Baird Park and features both street and transition elements.

On the back side of the skatepark is a kidney bowl with metal coping and a flat bottom. The back side of the bowl has a whippy quarter pipe running along side it with a euro gap that opens up onto the main body of the skatepark. Following this is a rail and a hubba that lead down to the lower level via a flat bank with a euro gap. The lower level is a open flat area with a hipped bank in the back corner and enclosed with a bowled edge with an extension on one side.

Stonehaven skatepark is a great local park with a nice layout and smooth surfaces. It is a good place for beginners to practise the basics and also for more experienced skaters wanting to fine tune those harder tricks.
