Little Heath Skatepark (Tilehurst)
Little Heath skatepark was designed and built by Maverick Industries and opened in 2011. It is an all concrete course that is primarily transitions oriented and can be found in Little Heath Park, Reading.
It is split into two sections, the smaller of which is made up of a mini ramp that back of which is spined with the larger section. The spine backs onto an open sided rectangular bowl, the open side of which opens up into a transition based run. It is made up of long flat section with a pump bump in the middle adjacent to a ledge and finishes off with a taco for a return ramp.
This is a great local park with smooth surfaces and a nice layout albeit fairly simple. It would be a good place to practise the basics of transition skating however if you are after more of a challenge it would be recommended to check out one of the other parks nearby.
