Sol Joel Skatepark (Earley)
Sol Joel skatepark was designed and built by Gravity and opened in 2011. It can be found in Sol Joel park and features a bowl and also a street run and a rhythm run.
The street run starts on side with quarter pipes that open up onto a flat bank leading down a level with a rail and hubbas. Following this is a driveway with ledge and hubba as well as an up and down kicker with a rail and finishing the run is a flat bank with extension. The back side of this is joined onto the bowl here which is rectangular with some kinks in the side and an extension on one corner. Off the other side of the bowl is the rhythm run that is made up of two quarter pipes either side of a jump box with a double roll over along side it that is linked by a keyhole gap with another quarter pipe run.
Sol Joel skatepark is a great local spot that has a bit of everything. It has everything you would expect and the runs are well designed to form long flowing lines and the surfaces are super smooth. Get yourself down here if you are in the area.
