South City Skatepark (Milton Keynes)
South City Skatepark (Childs Way) is a large open street plaza that can be found just outside the centre of Milton Keynes and is made up of a mixture of concrete and marble obstacles on a concrete base.
Along some of the edges run some nice mellow flat banks and the body of the skatepark features a series of concrete ledges and manny pads. The main attraction of this skatepark is the marble blocks though, they are a mixture of flat and upwards sloping and a fairly uncommon obstacle to see in purpose built skateparks.
South City Plaza is a great place for street skaters, the obstacles are well arranged and well spaced giving a lot of time to adjust between tricks and practise. This is a perfect place to come and lay down the basics however if you are after a more challenging skate check out some of the other parks in Milton Keynes.
