Cherry Hinton Skatepark

Cherry Hinton skatepark was built by Canvas and opened in 2014. It holds a transitions based course that is all concrete and set in a circular shape meaning it has some really nice flowing lines.

One side of the skatepark has a concrete mini ramp with a small vert extension, the end of which opens out into the rest of the course with a bowled corner. The main body of the skatepark is made up of a circuit which on one side has a roll over connected to a manny pad leading up to a bowled taco with spine at the end of the circuit to pump around. This then brings you back to a flat section with a ledge and a rail which leads on to a falt bank to take you up to the platform of the mini ramp.

This is a really nice local park and it is definitely worth getting down here whetehr you are a beginner or and experienced rider. The creative way that the obstacles have been laid out means that there are some nice lines that flow really well.
