Guernsey Skatepark

Guernsey skatepark was designed and built by Gravity and opened in May 2013. It is an all concrete skatepark that features both street and transition elements and can be found next to the Beau Sejour leisure centre.

The skatepark is split into two main parts, the first being a street run. It starts on one side with a mini ramp the back of which is joined to a flat bank with a tombstone. This leads on to pyramid with wave, a curved ledge and a manny pad & hubba set. Following this is raised level that has flat banks, stair sets, hubbas and rails leading up to it with a further stair set, manny pad, rail and hubba on top.

The bowl section here is large and varied, the main rectangular section in the centre is split into two sections with a spine and roll over with an oververt in the back corner  and a speed bowl leading off the other. There is metal coping around the edges and some extensions as well.

Guernsey skatepark is a great spot and the best one on the island. There is something for everyone here and the selection of obstacles is decent. The skatepark has been well designed and the surfaces are smooth making it good for beginners and experienced skaters.
