Congleton Skatepark
Congleton skatepark is an all concrete course situated just behind the leisure centre. It follows the standard layout that most council builds have but the surfaces are smooth and the obstacels are well spaced.
At one side of the park are two quarter pipes facing each other to form a mini ramp and off one of the platforms runs another quarter pipe that leads into the main body of the park. This quarter pipe is in line with a funbox that is lined with a hubba and has a rail running down the middle of it. This then follows on to a flat bank to complete the run. Along side this is a curved ledge for grinds and adjacent to this is straight ledge, perfect for trying those double grind lines.
This is a nice local park but the arrangement is not the most original meaning that it is not that challenging but still a good place to practise the basics or for a game of skate.
