Weston Park Skatepark (Macclesfield)

Weston Park skatepark in Macclesfield was built by Wheelscape and was opened in 2011. It is an all concrete park with a combination of transition and street based elements in a fairly original arrangement with something for riders of all abilities.

On one side is a flat bank linked to a quarter pipe that lead into the main body of the skatepark. Following this is two main lines, one is onto a pump bump followed by a brick bank with a manny pad built into the middle, and the other into a pole jam on a wave kicker and jump box that lead into a shallow flat bottomed bowl. The bowl is square in shape and the final edge of the line is made up of a vert wall and adjacent to this is a bowled corner.

This is a great local park which has some nice obstacles that are set up in a fairly creative back and forth arrangement. There is also a lot of space between them giving the park a nice flowing set up and it is definitely a park worth checking out!
