Consett Skatepark
Consett skatepark is a small metal on tarmac course in the car park of Belle Vue leisure centre. It is set up in the usual back and forth arrangement shared by most council builds.
On either side is a flat bank and a quarter pipe that house a small funbox and spine in between them.
This is a good place to come and practise the basics but if you are after a more challenging skate then try one of the other parks in the area.

Chester-le-Street train station: As it is such a long distance from the station to Consett skatepark it would be recommended to get a bus or a taxi to get there.
Civic Centre bus stop: Exit the bus onto Medomsley Street and head south until Ashdale Road. Here turn left onto the road and follow it along until the skatepark is on your left.
