Newton Aycliffe Skatepark

Newton Aycliffe skatepark is a park made up of skatelite ramps on a tarmac base. It also benefited from a recent investment to extend the facilities there increasing the number of ramps. It is mainly a transtions park with some street elements thrown in.

At one side of the park is a mini ramp and next to this is a line of quarter pipes that open up into the main body of the park. The return ramps on the other side are also made up of quarter pipes and in between these two sets are a small jump box with hubba, a spine and a manny pad.

Newton Aycliffe is a nice local skatepark with a decent set of ramps however teh arrangement is not the most challenging meaning it is a good place to practise the basics. If you are after a more challenging skate then try some of the other nearby parks.
