Kirkby Lonsdale skatepark was recently renovated to update it and smooth out the existing ramps. It is now made up of concrete obstacles on tarmac grounding and is very much back and forth based.
On one side is a whippy open sided bowl which leads out onto a funbox with hubba and finishes with a bowled corner on the far side. Running along the side of the main course are also a series of ledges and a rail.
This is a nice local park which has been successfully brought up to date, the surfaces are smooth but the layout is fairly unoriginal meaning it is a good place to practise the basics but for a more challenging skate check out some of the other parks nearby.
