Bideford Mini Ramp
Bideford’s timber Mini Ramp was built in April 2017 by Maverick following the closure of the metal skatepark on the same site in February 2017. The mini ramp was built as a temporary facility whilst the new Bidford Concrete Skatepark was being built nearby off Kingsley Road.
The original Bidford Skatepark consisted of metal ramps on a tarmac base and was set up in a back and forth arrangement. The opening side featured a flat bank and a quarter pipe next to a series of back to back mini ramps forming a spine and a volcano between the two. Next to this was a driveway with a hubba down the middle of it and an adjoining jump box. At the end of the course was a wall of flat banks and quarter pipes for the return.
