Brixham Skatepark
Brixham skatepark is made up of skatelite ramps on a tarmac base and is very much a transitions focused park aimed more at BMXers, with a street oriented funbox.
On one side there is a wall of quarter pipes and flat banks with extensions to open up the park and one half of it opens into a wide mini ramp. This mini ramp is then back to back with another to form a spine and this mini ramp is then back to back with a quarter pipe to form a volcano. This quarter pipe opens into the back corner which is propped up by two hipped quarterpipes. The opposite corner to this is made up of two hipped flat banks and in between this and the wall is a fun box with a rail and a hubba.
Brixham is a great local park with a back and forth layout, however there is slightly more to skate here than the usual council builds. This would be a good place to come and practise the basics of transition skating or just for a game of skate with friends.
