Ilfracombe Skatepark
Ilfracombe skatepark was designed and built by Gravity, opening in 2010. It is a large all concrete course with a mixture of street and transition elements all mixed in amongst each other.
The skatepark starts on one side with a bowled area that is made up of a speed corner, pump bump and bowled edges that open up into the main body of the skatepark. Following this is a section with a stair set, rail and hubba that is adjacent to another the consists of a pyramid and hubba. After these are a long street focused run made up of an up and down kicker with hubba and manny pad and a flat bank with rail and hubba, finishing with a flat bank with extension at the end as a return ramp.
Ilfracombe is a great local skatepark with a creative layout allowing for long flowing lines that you can simply pump along. There is a decent selection of obstacles here and there is something for everyone of all abilities making it a great spot for beginners and experienced skaters alike.
