The Lodge Skatepark (Newton Abbot)
The Lodge skatepark is a volunteer run skatepark in Newton Abbot opened in 2014 made up of bespoke wooden ramps in a large warehouse set up. The ramps are mainly transtion based and geared towards BMXers but there is still something for all types of rider of all abilites here.
The park itself features a mini ramp on one side with various height sides with a rhythm section running along the back wall with jump boxes and kickers. In the centre of the park is another series of kickers and jump boxes.
This is a nice indoor skatepark with some nice big transitions and jumpsthat you would struggle to find elsewhere in an outdoor park nearby. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the area.
