Sidmouth Skatepark
Sidmouth Skatepark has recently been re-built by Maverick skateaprks, the old concrete ramps have now been replaced with a fully concrete build. It comprises of a enclosed bowl leading on to a street area via a stair-set, bank and hubbas. The street area is made up of an angled ledge, hip, rail, manual pad and raised banks. at the far end is curved quarter-pipe with a taller flat quarter-pipe adjacent.
Sidmouth skatepark is a basic park that can be found in Long Park and is made up of concrete ramps on a tarmac base. It is very much a back and forth based course but there is a nice variety of obstacles here.
At one end is a shallow mini ramp with a long pyramid coming off one platform and a quarter pipe coming off the other. These both open up into the main body of the park which features two large funboxes with hubbas, a euro gap and also a manny pad with a curved side. The return ramps here are a large flat bank and a quarter pipe.
This is a basic skatepark but the obstacles are in good condition given the age and the layout is good for practising the basics but if you are after a more challenging skate try one of the other skateparks nearby.
