Tavistock Skatepark
Tavistock skatepark is made up of metal ramps on a tarmac base next to the River Tavy. It is a back and forth based park and features all of the usual obstacles.
At one end there is a mini ramp with a roll in and a flat bank coming of either platform, and in between these two is also a quarter pipe. These ramps lead into the main body of the skatepark which consists of a volcano, driveway with hubba and a pyramid in line with each other. The return ramps are two quarter pipes with a flat bank between the two. The flat bank has a small quarter pipe inset into the base with a ledge at the top.
Tavistock skatepark has quite an unoriginal layout but the obstacles here are decent and well sized and spaced. The ramps here are quite old but it is still a good place to come and learn the basics.

Gunnislake train station: As it is such a long way from the station it would be recommended to get a bus or a taxi to get to Tavistock skatepark.
School bus stop: Exit the bus onto Plymouth Road and head south, crossing the bridge, until the roundabout. Take the road on the left called Pixon Lane and follow this road until Tavistock skatepark is in sight.
