Ferndown Skatepark
Ferndown skatepark is made up of metal ramps on a tarmac base next to the leisure centre and it is your usual set of obstacles in the standard council build arrangement.
At one end it features a mini ramp with two quarter pipes coming off each platform. The middle part of the skatepark is propped up by a jump box and a driveway with a hubba and adjoining spine. The return ramps are two quarter pipes with two more quarter pipe leading of the top platforms and facing each other.
Ferndown skatepark is a nice local park but the layout is not the most original. It would be a good place to come to practise the basics but if you are after a more challenging skate try one of the other skateparks nearby in Bournemouth.

Church Road bus stop: Exit the bus onto Wimborne Road and take Church Road south until the leisure centre. Here the skatepark will be in sight.
