The Front Skatepark (Weymouth)

The Front is a large skate complex featuring an outdoor undercover ramp park and Weymouth’s only indoor ramp park as well. It is constructed of bespoke wooden ramps  and is mainly a transitions based park.

The outdoor ramp park is made up of a curved mini ramp with a hipped inner corner and has an extension along one edge. Next to this is the spine park which is propped up on either side with quarter pipes and has a series of spines, flat banks with hubbas and roll overs in between the two.

The indoor section here is a recent addition and is set up in a long thin back and forth arrangement with flat banks, jump boxes, roll overs, manny pads, and gaps.

The Front is a really great skatepark and has somethign for everybody of all abilities. The lines in the ramp room are long and flowing and the outdoor spine section has some nice big obstacles that you can get some decent air off. This skatepark is definitely worth the trip if you are in the area or even if your from out of town.
