Kings Park Skatepark
Kings Park skatepark is a large all concrete park in Bournemouth. It features a combination of transitions and street obstacles including a large plaza style area and a bowl.
The plaza area is housed in a square section with two of the edges being bowled out adn the opposite two having a flat bank. In the centre, running off the bowled edge is a funbox with a hubba and a rail and coming down the middle of one of the banks is a large stair set with two hubbas and a rail. On the raised level at the top of the stair set is a funbox with a wall ride, manny pad and staggered ledge.
One of the corners of the plaza area opens up into a long curved mini ramp that curls around to open up onto a large bowl. The bowl here is deeper than the mini ramp and also features a large exntension.
This is a great local park with a bit of somethign for everyone. The long curved mini ramp is a lot of fun to pump around and gain speed in the build up to the bowl and the plaza section is basic but well laid out with a lot of space. Whether you are a beginner or more experienced this will be a great place for you to come down and have a session.

Bournemouth train station: As it is a long way to Kings Park skatepark it would be recommended to get a bus or a taxi to get there from Bournemouth station.
Pokesdown train station: Exit the station onto Christchurch Road and take the road named Clarence Park Road north until the footpath at the end. Follow this path and Kings Park skatepark will be on your left.
Pokesdown Station bus stop: Exit the bus onto Christchurch Road and take the road named Clarence Park Road north until the footpath at the end. Follow this path and Kings Park skatepark will be on your left.
