Forest Row Skatepark

Forest Road skatepark has existed in this spot since the 90’s however in 2014 it was given an update and re-vamp by Freestyle bringing it into the 21st century. It is a large skatepark and is solely a transitions based park that can be found next to the River Medway.

It is laid out in three main sections that are all connected and flow nicely together. The main, and largest, section is a long & thin one that has a taco at one end and two bowled edges on either side with a long pump bump in the middle. Adjoined onto this section is a smaller bowl that is wrapped around the first one and is then spined with another bowl behind that one which has a smaller, tighter speed bowl section.

Forest Row skatepark is a great local park and since the re-vamp the surfaces are super smooth and fast. There are some really nice flowing lines here that you can pump around without having to push making it a transition skaters dream. It is a great spot to come and practise the basics on some of the smaller bowls or master the lines in the gnarlier ones.
