Uckfield Skatepark
Uckfield skatepark was designed and built by Wheelscape, opening in 2009. It is an all concrete park with some brickwork thrown in too and is primarily a street focused park with some mellow transitions that can be found Victoria Pleasure Ground.
It is laid out in a loop and starts in one corner with a hipped bank leading into both paths, and on one side is an up and down kicker with manny pad. The other is another up and down kicker with a hubba and wall ride running along the side and following up from this is a ledge and the start of a bricked bowled edge, with a curved ledge inset, that links with the other path. Connecting the two paths is a small mini ramp running along the middle between them.
Uckfield skatepark is a great local spot with a decent selection of obstacles and arranged in a very creative way. It is a perfect place to come and practise the basics or even if you are more experienced and wanting to master the lines. This skatepark should be high on your list of places to visit if you are in the area.
