Drumchapel Skatepark
Drumchapel skatepark is a medium sized all concrete skatepark that can be found in the Southdeen Play Area and is mainly a transitions park with some street elements dotted around.
The skatepark is split into two main sections. The first is a mellower flat bank section that is surrounded by flat banks and also has two stair sets and some rails as well, perfect for beginners. The other half of the skatepark is more transition based and has three main parts, two larger square ones and a speed bowl off the side. In between the sections there are spines and hips and also there is a large volcano style curve in the middle of one section.
Drumchapel skatepark is a great local spot, especially if you are a transitions skater. There are a lot of bumps and corners that you can pump around without having to push once and the surfaces are smooth meaning endless lines. If you like to ride transitions get yourself down here and check it out.
