Peg Hill Skatepark (Yate)
Yate skatepark is a medium sized park that consists of some old concrete bowls and metal ramps.
There are 2 concrete bowls and they are both key hole shaped and lined up next to each other with a spine and a roll over linking the two. One bowl is more elongated and shallower than the other, being aimed more at the beginners, whereas the other is deeper and slightly wider with nice bump to pump around.
The other part of the skatepark here features a large funbox with jumpbox and rail and adjacent spine. Around the edge of the tarmac surface where the ramps are there are also some curved staggered ledges.
Peg Hill is a great local skatepark with a nice bowl section and a basic but satisfactory ramp section. It would be a good place to come and practise the basics and also for more experienced riders to fine tune some of their more complicated tricks in the bowl.
