Borehamwood Skatepark (Aberford Park)
Borehamwood’s Aberford Park Skatepark was built in October 2005 by Freestyle, this concrete skatepark has stood the test of time and remains smooth and fast with its large obstacles. It is a medium sized park and features a wall of banks and quarter pipes at one end and a 5 foot mini ramp joined to a flat bank with manny pad, rail and hubba.
In between the two are two driveways, one with a pyramid hip and hubba, the other with a quarter pipe, square rail, curved block and a block and rail.
This skate park is not the most original but has smooth surfaces and some nice lines. The large obstacles make it a lot more fun than a similar park on a smaller scale and is worth a visit if you are in the area.
