Dartford Skatepark

Dartford Skate Park first opened in March 2007. It is a large concrete skatepark situated in Dartford’s Central Park, with prominent features including a U-shaped bowl and a street course.

The open sided bowl is a decent size with nice coping and depth variation and leads into the bottom of the street section with a spine and a ramp. The street section then features a split level course with rails, ledges and a 4 stair set lined with a hubba and a kicker at the bottom. There are also some quarter pipes, banks, ledges and many pads, a taco shell and jersey barriers.

Dartford is a large local skatepark with a well-designed street section hosting some interesting lines and offering a lot of variation, well worth the trip if you are considering travelling to the area.

The first phase of the skatepark was completed by Gravity Skateparks at a cost of £120,000. Dartford Borough Council contributed £70,000 to the project with the remaining £50,000 awarded by Barclay Spaces for Sport. A phase 2 extension was completed in 2009 by Greenstreet Designs, at a cost of £45,000.
