Rainham Cozenton Skatepark

Rainham Skatepark can be found in Cozenton Park and was opened in 2011. It is a medium sized all concrete park with a bowl and a large street section.

The bowl here is a fairly standard shape made up of a kinked rectangle with a flat bottom, small extension and coping around the edges. On the platform around the top of the bowl are a curved ledge and curved rail and a long kinked flat bank that leads down a level into the street section. On the flat bank there is a rail as well as a hubba and a stair set and these open up onto a driveway with a rail, hubba and tall volcano. In the back two corners are a hipped bank with a curved ledge on top and a taco with flat banks either side of it.

Rainham skatepark is a great local park with something for everyone of al abilities. The surfaces are smooth and there is a good amount of space between the obstacles. It is definitely worth checking out if you are in the area.
