Riverside skatepark in Gravesend was designed & built by Freestyle and opened in 2012. It is an all concrete skatepark with a little bit of everything from transitions to street style.
On one side of the skatepark is an open sided rectangular bowl that can be doubled up as a mini ramp, the open side of which leads into the main body of the skatepark. At the other corner of the park is a taco and this leads onto a large open flat area with a driveway, ledge and rail. Along side is a small multi level plaza style area with flat banks, bowled edges, manny pads, hubbas and a long flat bank at the end for a return ramp.
This is a really nice local skatepark and can be enjoyed by all types of rider of all abilities, whether you are a beginner wanting to practise the basics or someone more experienced trying to nail those harder tricks.
