Unit 1 Skatepark (Rochester)

Unit 1 skatepark is a large indoor park set in a warehouse in Rochester. It is made of bespoke wooden ramps and holds a bowl and a park section.

The bowl here is rectangular with an extension around one of the sides and a flat bottom. The back of the bowl opens up into the park section which is the usual back and forth arrangement made up of two lines of quarter pipes and flat banks with driveways, hubbas, ledges, rails and various other obstacles in between them.

Unit 1 is a great indoor park with a lot to do for all type of rider. The surfaces are all wood making it a smooth ride with no cracks and gaps. Definitely worth coming down to check it out, even if it is on a rainy day.
