Metheringham Skatepark
Metheringham skatepark was designed and built by Freestyle, opening in 2014. It is an all concrete skatepark that has a mixture of street and transition elements and can be found in the playing field just off Princes Street.
The skatepark starts with a long quarter pipe running along one side that has a facing quarter pipe at the end forming a mini ramp which is back to back with a roll over jump box which is lead up to with another quarter pipe. Next to the roll over is also a volcano style bump for pumping along. The other half of the skatepark is taken up with a small and simple street section that features a flat bank with rail along side a manny pad with bowled edge and a curved stair set with hubba and a curved ledge at the back.
Metheringham skatepark is a great local spot with something for everyone of all abilities, there are bumps in all the right places for nice long flowing lines and the surfaces are super smooth. You should definitely get down here and check it out if you are in the area.
