X-Site Skatepark (Skegness)
X-Site is a large indoor and outdoor skatepark that is based in a warehouse in Skegness. The skatepark has been in existence since 2006 and features an indoor section made up of bespoke wooden ramps and an outdoor concrete plaza style section.
The indoor section here is made up of a large back and forth run with flat banks and quarter pipes of varying heights either side of a large driveway/funbox style middle with a manny pad, ledges, rails and a gap as well.
The outdoor concrete plaza is a large section that hold everything a street skater could want, there is a are stair sets with rails & hubbas, plenty of blocks and ledges, gaps, and flat banks and quarter pipes as well.
X-Site skatepark is a great local spot with something for everyone whether you are a transitions or street skater. The indoor section is a great place to practise the basics or even try and lay down those harder tricks however the street plaza here is the main attraction for many skaters. It is large and open with super smooth surfaces and is the only thing like it in the area, definitely worth heading down to check it out.
