Clissold Park Skatepark
Clissold Park Skatepark (AKA Clissold Wheels Park) opened in December 2010 by Freestyle but was forced to close due to vandalism in early 2014. However, in June 2014 it was reopened thanks to the efforts of a local crew of skaters who mended the damage caused by the vandals.
It is a simple park with two adjacent concrete bowls. The smaller bowl has a long back wall with three bowled corners and two hips. Around that is the bigger bowl in an unusual V-shape with three steep hips and wide bowled corners. As the bowls are adjacent to each other it also allows for transfers between the two.
Thanks to the clean up the bowls are smooth and fast with all the corners leading nicely into each other, if you are a bowl skater Clissold Park can provide you with a good place for a chilled afternoon session with some nice transitions and opportunities for spine transfers too.
