Penicuik Skatepark
Penicuik skatepark is a large all concrete skatepark that can be found in Angle Park and has both a street run and a transitions section.
The street course runs up the long side of the skatepark and starts in one corner with a hipped bank that leads up to a driveway with a manny pad, ledge and rail. Adjoined to the side of this is a bowled part with an extension and following from this is a flat bank that leads up to a top level with a hubba, euro gap and ledge.
The transitions section here is made up of two parts, one an open sided rectangular bowl and the other being a more rounded one. In between the two is a roll over and at the end of the rounded bowl is a tall vert wall.
Penicuik is a great local spot with something for everyone of al abilities, whether you are a beginner or more experienced. The layout has been creatively designed and there is a decent selection of obstacles, get yourself down here if you are in the area and check it out.
