Abergavenny Skatepark
Abergavenny skatepark is an all concrete skatepark that can be found next to the youth centre and is a simple set up of transitions and street elements.
The skatepark starts on one side with a round, open sided bowl the corners of which are hipped around the corners. Leading down from the top platform on one side is a double stair set with hubba and the other is a flat bank. Following this is a large pyramid with ledges either side and after these is a long flat bank for a return ramp.
Abergavenny skatepark is a great local spot that hosts a simple selection of obstacles that are set up in a great way to make good use of the space. The surfaces are also smooth and fast making it a great place to come and learn the basics.

Abergavenny train station: Exit Abergavenny station onto Station Road and follow it until Monmouth Road. Take this road north and continue onwards as it turns into Cross Street. Follow the road onwards and cross over onto Pen-Y-Pound following the road up until Wellfield is on your left, here is where Abergavenny skatepark can be found.
Wellfield Close bus stop: Exit the bus and Abergavenny skatepark will be in sight.

There are no on site toilets but there are free to use facilities nearby in the youth centre.
