Elgin Skatepark
Elgin skatepark is a medium sized all concrete skatepark that can be found in Cooper Park and is mainly a transitions based park with a small street back and forth section.
The transitions part of the park takes up the most space and starts on one side with a bowled corner that opens up onto a hip and a pyramid. Following this is a pump bump adjacent to a mini ramp and after these are a large bowled edge with a hip and a vert extension on one part. Running up the side of the course is a small back and forth street run that features a driveway with hubba and a flat bank and quarter pipe on either side.
Elgin skatepark is a great local park, especially if you are a transitions skater. There are a lot of corners and bump to pump along and the surfaces are smooth meaning it is good for skaters of all ability.
