Skateboard GB's MySkate App helps people quickly find skateparks by entering their location and provides them with a list of their closest parks. The app is the first of its kind in the UK and features thousands of skateparks using data provided by The Skateparks Project, with photos and a list of features for each location.
The app also features gamification of the classic skateboarding game S.K.A.T.E. (which format is similar to ‘Horse’ in other sports). Users can challenge friends to compete, using the game to randomly generate tricks that the user then tries to land, with person landing the most amount of tricks, wins.
