Website Refreshed for Modern Standards
We’re pleased to announce the biggest refresh of The Skateparks Project website since it was first built in 2014. The new site went live on 17 September.
With most of our visitors now using mobile devices, the website has been completely rebuilt from scratch using modern, mobile-first standards. Whether you’re searching for a skatepark while out and about or browsing from home, the experience should now be quicker, clearer and easier to use.
The update brings improved navigation, faster loading times and better accessibility across a wider range of devices. We’ve also fixed a number of long-standing bugs and made improvements behind the scenes to provide a stronger foundation for the site’s future.
The rebuild was led by the project’s founder, Alex Jordan.
This is an important step forward, but it isn’t the end of the work. We have more improvements and new features planned, and we’d love to hear your feedback. If you spot an issue or have an idea that could make the website more useful, please get in touch.
