Southtown Common Skatepark
The skatepark on Southtown Common is a fairly simple set up of concrete obstacles on a tarmac base. It is back and forth based and is made up of a flat bank facing a small ramp with a spine and a driveway with hubba between the two, and there is also a ledge next to the driveway. For the transtition skaters there is also a concrete mini ramp with a small one foot extension on the far side of the skatepark.
Southtown Common skatepark is a nice local park and a good palce to practise the basics however it you are after a more challenging skate check out some of the other spots in Great Yarmouth.

Great Yarmouth train station: Cross the river and join onto North Quay and follow the road south until the bridge. Cross the river onver the bridge and follow the road until you see Southtown Road on your left. Take this road and follow it until you reach Gordon Road and take a right here. At the end of this road it meets Sufflok Road, turn left here and follow it south until you reach Southtown Common Rcreational Ground where the skatepark is situated.
High Road bus stop: Exit the bus onto Beccles Road and cross over onto Alpha Road. Follow this road until the end and Southtown Common skatepark will be in sight.
