Harrogate Skatepark
Harrogate skatepark was designed and built by Gravity and opened in 2011. It can be found in Valley Gardens and has both street and transition features.
The skatepark starts on one side with an open sided bowl that has an extension on one side, the open side of which opens up onto a transition run that features a volcano and a pump bump finishing with a hipped quarter pipe. Running adjacent to this is a street run that starts with a quarter pipe and opens up onto a raised level that features a manny pad, hubba, rails and finishes with a quarter pipe with adjoning flat bank with a block on top.
Harrogate skatepark is a great local spot with something for everyone. The selection of obstacles and ramps here is fairly basic but the surfaces are smooth which makes up for it making it perfect for beginners and experienced skaters alike.
