Morpeth Skatepark
Morpeth skatepark is an all concrete park located by the tennis courts in Carlisle Park.
The skatepark follows a small back and forth layout, starting on one side with a flat bank next to a quarter pipe that opens up onto a fun box in the middle with a hubba and hipped banks. Following this is a bowled corner with an adjoining flat bank and a stair set with a rail leading off the top platform.
Morpeth skatepark is a nice local park with smooth surfaces and a range of features suitable for most disciplines and abilities. It’s a good place to come for a warm up or to practice the basics.
The skatepark opened in July 2005 following six years of fundraising and campaigning. The park cost £130,000. A new grind box was added in October 2013.
