Mansfield Plaza Skatepark

Mansfield Plaza is a large all concrete street plaza and was built by Maverick Industries, opening in 2010, that can be found in Fisher Lane Park.

The skatepark starts on one side with a raised level and leading off this are two flat banks, one with a ledge that leads into a large open area and the other that has a rail and ledge that leads up to a jump box with adjoining roll over. The first bank leads up to a taco and has a small pump bump in front of it next to a larger roll over. Following on from the jump box is a facing quarter pipe that forms a small mini ramp with a vert extension and off the side of this is a long kinked flat bank that leads into the open area. Atop this bank is a small section that then features and extension, ledge and another flat bank.

Mansfield Plaza is a great local spot, especially if you are a street skater. There are a lot of obstacles to hit here and they have been arranged in a very creative way to make good use of the available space. There are a lot of lines that you can hit here whether you are a beginner or more experienced. You should definitely check it out if you are in the area.
