Donnington Skatepark

Donnington skatepark was designed and built by Wheelscape, opening in 2012. It can be found in the park off School Lane and features both street and transtion elements.

The skatepark is split into two sections, the first of which is the street run. It starts on one side with a quarter pipe with extension and following this is a up and down kicker with hubba and pump bump adjoined to the side. Next to this is a bowled edge and the run finishes with a stair set with hubbas and a flat bank that lead up a level to the top platform of the bowl.

The top platform of the bowl has a pole jam and a ledge and the bowl itself is a large and open with metal coping around the edges. The bowl has a rectangular section with a speed corner and some hips on one side and an oververt and another speed corner on the other.

Donnington skatepark is a great local spot that has something for everyone. The street section has a basic selection of obstacles and the bowl has enough corners and bumps to pump around without having to push. If you are in the area get down and check it out.
