East Kilbride Skatepark
East Kilbride skatepark is a large all concrete park that can be found next to Town Centre Park and features mainly transitions with a few street elements thrown in.
Running up the long side of the skatepark is a long half pipe channel that get progressively wider and deeper, with a bowled end and opening up at the end into the other half of the skatepark. This part of the skatepark is enclosed with a bowled edge which contains an open, flat area with a roll over and pyramid in the middle. In the bottom corner of the skatepark is a keyhole bowl that is made up of a large round area and a smaller speed corner style bowl.
East Kilbride skatepark is a great local spot, especially if you are a transitions skater. The course is huge and has a lot of corners and bumps to pump around without having to push once. The transitions are nice and the surfaces are smooth making it a good place for beginners and experienced skaters alike.
