The House Skatepark
The House skatepark is a large all wooden skatepark set up in a warehouse on the river in Sheffield holding both a street section and a transition section.
The transitions aspect of this park features a 16ft mini ramp with movable extension that backs onto a quarter pipe that faces two spines and rolls through to a huge vert wall that is extended up 18ft to the roof. This skatepark also has a section named the ‘mini house’, aimed more at the beginners, which features a 2ft mini ramp, a small spine, a grind box and two flat banks.
The main attraction of The House skatepark though is their street section. Starting with a tall flat bank with two quarter pipes either side at 5ft and 8ft tall, it leads into a large driveway with 23ft long grind box and a long rail and deathbox as well. Following on from this is a uniquely shaped hip that then follows up to an 8 stair set flanked by two large hubbas and 4ft banks. At the top of these is a platform with two 4ft quarter pipes and a 5ft roll in.
The House skatepark is a great spot in a great location, definitely worth checking out and spending an afternoon session down here mastering the lines.
