Tamworth Skatepark

Tamworth skatepark was desigend and built by Freestyle opening in 2009. It is an all concrete course and is primarily a street park with some transition elements thrown into the mix.

It starts on one side with a quarter pipe and a wedge that face onto a funbox area with hipped bnk, rails, ledges and a manny pad. Following this is a long flat bank with an extension that is hipped with a mini ramp in the back corner.

Tamworth skatepark is a nice local park with a fairly basic set of obstacles that are arranged in the usual way, although the surfaces are smooth and fast that makes up for it. It is a good place for beginners to come and practise the basics however if you are after a more challenging skate check out one of the other skateparks nearby.
