Stirling Skatepark

Stirling skatepark was designed and built by Wheelscape and opened in 2012. It is an all concrete park that mainly features transitions with some street elements thrown in.

The skatepark starts on one side with a half kidney bowl that opens up into a mini ramp which then leads onto a large open area. This features a bowled edge with a tombstone, a large pump bump and a bench off to one side. Next along the skatepark is a flat bank that leads up a level with two rails to a large flat area. On one side of this is an open sided bowl that is then also spined with another, larger bowl set at various depths, metal coping and an oververt.

Stirling skatepark is a great local park with a lot to skate. The transitions here are nice and flow well creating long lines you can pump along. It has been well designed and laid out to make good use of the space and is a great place for beginners and experienced skaters alike.
