Long Grove Skatepark (Epsom)
Long Grove skatepark was designed and built by Wheelscape and opened in 2013. It can be found in Long Grove Park and contains a combination of street and transition elements.
The skatepark is split into two runs that start from the same hipped quarter pipe. The street run features a driveway, ledge, wave and rail set and finishes with a flat bank and extension. The other run here starts with a quarter pipe that leads into a large bowl. The bowl is large and is made up of two section, the first is more open and has a spine in the middle to split it into two sections with a pump bump at the end. Leading off the side of this is a square section that is deeper and has metal coping around the edges.
Long Grove skatepark is a great spot and contains something for everyone. The bowl here is the big attraction and has a lot of bumps and corners to pump around without having to push and the surfaces are super smooth. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced skater get down here and check it out.
