Garforth Skatepark
Garforth skatepark is an all concrete skatepark that was opened in 2012 and features both transition and street elements.
The skatepark starts on one side with a clover bowl that has a flat bottom, metal coping and an open side on one of the parts that opens up onto the rest of the park. Following this is a half pipe with hipped quarter pipes on either side of it and a flat bank leading off one of the top platforms which leads up to a jump box & spine and a double eldge set. The end of the skatepark then features a flat bank and quarter pipe which act as return ramps.
Garforth skatepark is a great local spot with a bit of something for everyone or all abilities. The layout is not the most original but the sufaces are smooth and there is a decent selection of obstacles. It is a great place to come if you are a beginner wanting to learn the basics or a more experienced skater looking for some big obstacles to get some air.
