Morley Skatepark

Morley skatepark use to exist as a metal ramp park but funding was secured and in late 2012 a new super smooth concrete park replaced it bringing a whole new set of obstacles to the park. The new layout is much more original and gives users a much more varied and challenging set of lines.

It features a little bit of everything and the new skatepark holds a open bowl with a small extension that is set up in such a way that it can be used as a mini ramp as well. Following off from the open side of the bowl is a stair set with handrail which leads into a driveway with grind rail al the way down the middle and a pyramid and hubba on either side. Adjacent to this is a spine adjoined to a pump bump that leads into the end of the area which features a long contoured mini ramp. There are also ledges and grind rails leading along the opposite side in a line.

This skatepark has been completely rejuvenated through this redevelopment turning it from a standard council build and layout to something a lot more special and unique. It is definitely worth heading down here as you could easily spend a day here lay out all the lines.
