Saltaire Skatepark
Saltaire skatepark is a medium sized all concrete park that is arranged in a loop layout with street & transition elements and can be found on the banks of the River Aire.
The skatepark starts on one side with a large half pipe with a curved edge on one side and an extension. Leading out of this are two paths on either side, one starts with a roll over and leads up to a large volcano and finishes with a quarter pipe. The other path start with a euro gap and continues along a flat run with a rail and finishes with a flat bank. The ends of either paths are linked with a stair set, bank and rail.
Saltair skatepark is a great local spot and has something for everyone. The layout has been creatively designed to make use of the space here well and give endless lines that flow around the course nicely. The selection of obstacles is decent and the surfaces are smooth making this a great place for beginners and experienced skaters alike.
